Cultural Ring in South Omo

Day 1: Addis Ababa

Arrival to Addis Ababa early in the morning. Transfer to the hotel. Addis Ababa city tour

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Arba Minch

Drive from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch via Hosaina lunch break in Sodo Wellayta head to Checcha after Lunch visit the Dorze Village at the Hill of the Chencha Dorze society, Check into hotel in Arba Minch late afternoon

Day 3: Arba Minch – Konso – Turmi
Drive from Arba Minch to Turmi via Konso On the way visit villages of Erbore and Weito Arrive to Turmi the home of the Hamer people .over night Turmi

 Day 4: Turmi – Omorate – Turmi
Drive from Turmi to the south (75 km) to the village of Omorate . Cross the Omo River in a local dugout boat and walk to the village of Dassenech people. Return same way to Turmi

Day 5: Turmi – Kei Afar – Jinka
Drive to Jinka, with a visit to the local market where you can meet Benna and Hamer people, as well as other tribes of South Omo area – over night  local hotel

Day 6: Jinka – Mursi – Jinka – Arba Minch
Journey to the Mago Park, where Mursi people live .Mursi, the most famous of the South Omo peoples, are known for their lip plates made of clay. Return to Jinka. After lunch drive from Jinka to Karat Konso, a town of the Konso people .overnight Konso Local Hotel

Day 7: Arba Minch
Dive to Arbaminch, after lunch – boat ride on Lake Chamo, which is a part of the Nech Sar Park. The lake is famous for the so called CROCODILE MARKET, a place where huge crocodiles rest during hot hours of the day. There are also many hippos and many species of birds.

Day 8: Arba Minch – Langano
Drive from Arba Minch to one of the resorts on Lake Langano on your way visit  the Sinkle Sanctuary  and head to  Langano Check into hotel.

Day 9: Langano – Addis Ababa
drive to Addis Ababa Shopping for souvenirs in the local souvenir market. Farewell dinner at the traditional Ethiopian restaurant. Transfer to the airport. Departure from Addis Ababa
